Cashless :

  • Depending on the emergency contact the assistance service provider either before admitting / after admitting the traveler to the hospital.
  • Your claim is registered. The assistance service provider will talk to the hospital where the traveler is admitted.
  • The assistance service provider will give guarantee of payment to the hospital. The traveler takes the treatment.
  • The traveler has to pay the deductible and the rest is paid by the insurance company as per policy terms and conditions.

Reimbursement :

  • Traveler takes the treatment and collects all the reports, pharmacy bills and other documents.
  • The travelers calls the assistance service provider to register a claim.
  • Submits all the documents in original to the claims department back in India.
  • The claims department verifies the submitted documents. Claim is approved or rejected.
  • If approved the claims amount after deductible will be reimbursed to the traveler.
