Manchurian Snack recipe

Manchurian is quite famous in India as street food. The taste of dry manchurian will be simply amazing and it is a great dish for parties.

Method of Preparation


  • Rice 1 cup
  • Cauliflower 20gms
  • Carrot 50gms
  • Cabbage 100gms
  • Egg 1(optional)
  • Coriander small bunch
  • Curry leaves 4-5
  • Maida 4 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • White pepper 1/2tsp
  • Salt 2tsp
  • Chilli powder according to taste
  • Ajinomoto 1/2tsp

For the sauce:

  • Onion 1
  • Ginger paste 1tsp
  • garlic paste 2 garlic pods
  • Corn flour 2tsp
  • Water 3tbsp
  • Ajinomoto 1/4tsp
  • Salt 1/2tsp
  • White pepper 1/4tsp
  • Soya sauce as required
  • chilli sauce as required

Preparation Methods:

  1. Chop all the vegetables very finely. Add maida, egg and all seasonings.
  2. Mix well and deep fry till brown.
  3. Set aside.To make the sauce: Heat oil then add finely chopped onions & garlic.
  4. Stir till transparent, then add ginger paste, corn flour, water, soy sauce, chilli sauce and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add the fried pieces & mix well.

To Serve:

Serve hot with coriander garnishings.
