Amarnath Temple
Details:
- Location: Pahalgam, Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir.
- Famous For: Shiva Temple.
- The temple was built in the year: Though there is no exact date it is believed to be 5,000 Years old.
- How to reach temple: Disciples travel on bare foot, from Srinagar or from Pahalgam. The last journey takes nearly 5 days to reach the temple.
The whole cave is encircled with Snow Mountains for most of the time and also the cave is concealed with the snow except during the summer season.
