   Roadways
Nagaland State Transport (NST) has developed a good network in the state, and offers its services from cities like Guwahati in Assam as well. Private buses like Blue Hill and Network also avilable from Guwahati to destinations such as Kohima, Dimapur and Mokokchung.

   Airways
Dimapur Airport, is 7 kilometres from Dimapur, and 70 kilometres from Kohima. It is the sole airport in Nagaland with scheduled commercial services to Kolkata, West Bengal and Dibrugarh, Assam.

   Railways
Nagaland is well-connected through the state’s only railway station at Dimapur, which in return is well-connected to Kolkata, Guwahati and Delhi. There are a number of trains from Guwahati to Dimapur, which is at a distance of about 290 km away. Amongst the most preferred trains between Guwahati and Dimapur are Dibrugarh Rajdhani, Jan Shatabdi Express, Avadh Assam Express and Nagaland Express.

   Rented Vehicles
It is quite easy to rent cars, most of them are rented along with drivers. These car rentals can be easily found online, or physically at airports, railway stations, bus stands and at popular tourist destinations.
