Senior Citizen Travel Medical Insurance for visiting UK
I am interested in medical insurance for my mother 85 years who is planning to visit me in the UK. I am a little confused about the $15,000 sublimits for over 81 so what is the $50,000 cover for? Please advise before I purchase the online plan.

Thank you for contacting NRIOL for your travel insurance requirements. Once the travelers crosses certain age every company has medical sublimits or restrictions. In the case of Reliance travel insurance plan since your mother is 81 year old and if you choose a $50,000 coverage plan, the limit for each medical claim is $15,000 even though the full coverage is $50,000. So there can be multiple claims up to a maximum of $50,000. In case of Bajaj Allianz the medical sublimit is $5,000 while the coverage is $50,000.
