Hinduism is a popular Religion in Australia, there are about 440,300 Hindu followers in Australia which makes up about 1.9% of the population. It is a fast growing religion in Australia and it is a youthful one too, most of the Hindu followers roughly 33% to 66 % of them are between the age of 14 and 34.
Most of the hindus are located in the east coast of Australia in cities Melbourne and Sydney. The local community and Hindu community in Australia have been living in harmony for a long time, there are even Hindu temples constructed in Australia.

Hindi and Punjabi have made it to the top ten languages spoken in Australia.
The 2016 census revealed that along with population, Indian languages too had grown in Australia. Hindi was one of the top Indian language spoken at home in Australia with 159,652 Hindi speakers, with Punjabi a close second at 132,496.
