The election year in US has produced a lot of euphoria among the Indian-American community. With such a close race, many US Indians have taken a deep interest in the American political process.
In my capacity as host-coordinator of the On-Line Resource for Indian-Americans and Friends of India called "Lobby for India", I do not take sides in the current presidential election. However, for the guidance of Indian-American voters, I am providing below two assessments, one supporting Governor George Bush and the other Vice President Al Gore.
I request NRI voters in the US to carefully look at both the reports before making your decision. Whoever wins, Indian-Americans have their work cut out.
God bless America and India! - Ram Narayanan, USA November 4, 2000
