Yes, the applicants must buy Chola MS Travel Insurance before leaving India. If you are outside India, it will require special approval from the underwriting team for you to buy travel insurance.
Chola MS travel insurance offers the following overseas travel medical insurance based on Indian customer travel requirements.
Silver Plan: A basic and very affordable plan with a maximum coverage of $50,000 and $100,000.
Gold Plan: A more comprehensive plan with more benefits having a maximum coverage of $100,000 and $250,000.
Senior Citizen Plan: Cover for people between the ages of 71 and 80 years.
The premium is per pay of coverage, hence the customer pays only for the number of days you want insurance as opposed to a fixed period duration as in many other insurance plans.

You can renew the Chola MS policy online. Fill the relevant details of the current existing policy and claims information (if any)and submit the form online.
