Study USA provides affordable comprehensive coverage for international students studying in the US and US students studying abroad. This plan meets the health insurance requirements of most of the US Universities. This plan meets the J1 Visa requirements. The dependents of F1 and J1 holders who are on F2 and J2 are eligible for coverage under this plan only if F1 and J1 are on the plan. Waiver of pre-existing condition is available with these plans after 364 days of continuous coverage , where pre-existing condition is treated as any other disablement.
Acute onset of pre-existing condition coverage is available.
This is renewable up to 364 days as long as the primary participant is eligible.
Incidental trips to home country is available with these and extension of benefits in home country is available as well.
For pregnancy to be covered, conception must occur 180 days after the coverage begins.
Non Contact amateur sports is covered.
Maternity Care is available with Choice and the Elite plans where as the Economy plan only covers $500. Elite plan provides the highest coverage. Coverage is reduced by 25% in case of failure to notify the insurance company within the first 90 days of pregnancy.
