Places to visit

  • Cadbury world: called as "Chocolate world". It is a center which tells about history of chocolate, and can also learn about how cocoa beans are used in making Chocolates.
  • Botanical gardens: These garden has four glasshouses and 15 acres of ornamental gardens opened in the year 1832, which was designed by JC Loudon.
  • West Midlands Safari park: This is located 20 miles far from Birmingham, which is the known as West Midlands Safari Park. This park covers an area of 200 acres.
  • Museums & Galleries: Award-winning science museum containing ten galleries of historical items, modern innovative and fantastic facts. Visitors can explore everything from aircrafts to steam engines.

Trains: The two major railway stations in Birmingham are Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Snow Hill station, which handles the following cities namely Midland Metro, Bilston, Wednesbury and West Bromwich. Birmingham also has extensive canal system, which helped the city during the industrial revolution.

Bus: Bus, Local train and Trams are the local public transport in the city. Bus routes are handled by National Express West Midlands.

Airport: Birmingham Airport is the seventh crowded airport in United Kingdom and third crowded airport outside the London followed by Manchester and Edinburgh. The major airlines operated from the Birmingham airport are Flybe, Ryanair, Bmibaby, Monarch Airlines and Thomson Airways they are connecting to international centers like Dubai, New York-Newark, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam.
