Atlas International Insurance is designed to take the risk out of international travel and includes coverage for Acts of Terrorism, Complications of Pregnancy and Incidental Trips home. Atlas International Insurance can be extended up to 36 months.
• Atlas International Insurance is for US citizens travelling abroad.
• Atlas America Insurance is for Non-US citizens traveling outside their home country.
• Atlas Extra Insurance is for ALL (US and Non-US citizens) international travellers (minimum period of 6 months).

Atlas International Insurance December 2005 Enhancements
Enhancements to the already well-known benefit plan include:
- Reduce minimum purchase from 7 days to 5 days
- Remove 3 month minimum purchase requirement for extensions
- Allow extensions in daily increments (5 day minimum purchase)
- Change extension fee from 10% to a flat rate of $5.00 per extension
- Cancellation policy update. After the effective date, cancellations will be granted with a $25.00 fee if no claims have been submitted
