NRI Industrialist Vikas Rambal planning to invest Rs 500 cr in India

To generate job opportunities for unemployed youth

Vikas Rambal, who hails from the state of Jammu and Kashmir, is a non resident Indian currently based in Australia (Perth). He is the chairman of Australia’s North West Chemicals and Fertilizers. Rambal’s Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilizers Industry located in Western Australia is the second largest fertilizer manufacturing firm in the world. Rambal family and Perdaman industries are proud supporters of the West Australia Cricket Association. While promoting Perdaman industry in India told that he will invest 500 crore in India. In the next three years he will be engaged in investing in India ranging from solar power to wind mill and plantation of jatropha curcus. He has signed the agreement with Madhya Pradesh government to get 5,000 acres of land near Gwalior for growing jatropha seeds for bio-diesel plants.

Rambal is interested to contribute to the economic development of Jammu and Kashmir. He has planned to invest 100 crore in J&K state. Speaking on the occasion of pre Kashmir Economic Summit told that J&K state requires investment to generate jobs for unemployed youth. Vikas Rambal told that Kashyap Progressive Commerce and Commercial Foundation (KPCC) can play pivotal role in the economic reconstruction of Jammu and Kashmir. Rambal also told that given a chance he would invest in the projects along with other Kashmiri Pandits all over the world. Mr Vikas came to India specially to discuss these matters.
