EB-5 visa

The EB-5 visa or fifth priority workers visa issued for those invests in U.S economy and create jobs and employment positions in the U.S. The EB-5 visa allows a foreign citizen to obtain a U.S Green Card through investing and creating jobs. The investor need to create at least 10 jobs for the U.S citizens or foreign migrants with an investment between $500,000 and $1 million.

They have to pay all applicable taxes and follow the U.S laws. The visa holder can travel in and out of the U.S, change jobs after a few years, move from one state to the other. They can also apply for a U.S citizenship and become naturalized when qualified.
For any applicant who wants EB-5 visa need to meet the below requirements: -

• EB-5 investor must invest in a new commercial enterprise through buying the business and restructuring it or expand the business so that there is an increase in its net worth or an increase in the number of fulltime employees ,10 employees by 2 years of span.
• The applicant need to invest in own personal assets and not borrowed assets with a minimum of $1 million in the U.S economy, but if the investor chooses a target or rural area with high unemployment, they can also invest $500,000.

• The applicant need to get an approved petition from the USCIS.
• Apply for the EB-5 visa.

Filing the petition
The applicant must file the petition to USCIS through Form I-526, Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur.
USCIS will process the petition and will notify the applicant. If approved, the case will go to the National Visa Center NVC.NVC, will assign a case number and invoice ID number. These documents will be part of the package with instructions on how to apply that will be sent to the applicant and they can begin to apply for a visa in their home country.
